We are pleased to announce that K&A Chartered Surveyors has moved to a new office at The Bridge Nucleus, Brunel Way, Dartford, Kent, DA1 5GA.
The move marks the next stage in a period of sustained growth for the practice. It gives our team more room to work, a better setting in which to meet clients, and a base that reflects where the business has got to since we opened our doors.
Six years of steady growth
K&A Chartered Surveyors was established in 2020 by Okan Ozyamaci BSc (Hons) MRICS and Sezer Ozyamaci. We started as a small practice with a straightforward aim: to give homebuyers, landlords, developers and commercial clients property reports they could genuinely act on, written in plain language and backed by thorough inspection.
Six years on, the practice has grown to a team of more than ten people, including several surveyors and an Office Manager, supported by professional consultants such as a Chartered Valuation Surveyor and a RIBA Conservation Accredited Architect.
That combination matters more than the headcount. It means an instruction that begins as a building survey can move into valuation advice, conservation input or a full set of drawings without the client having to go and find another firm. Throughout, we remain a firm of Chartered Building Surveyors regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
A service range that has grown with demand
What we are asked to do has broadened considerably since 2020. Our team now advises on both residential and commercial property across Kent, London, Essex, Surrey, Sussex and the surrounding areas, covering:
- Level 3 Building Surveys and Level 2 Homebuyer Surveys
- Drone roof inspections
- Party Wall services
- Schedules of condition and schedules of dilapidations
- Residential and commercial valuations
- Architectural drawings and lease plans
- Project management
We work with homebuyers, commercial clients and property developers, as well as legal and financial organisations that need clear, defensible property advice.
Why The Bridge Nucleus
Our previous office at Regus, Admirals Park, Victory Way, Dartford served us well from our move there in 2023, but a growing team eventually needs more than desk space.
We chose Nucleus because we wanted to be part of a professional business community, somewhere we could connect with other local businesses, build relationships and share knowledge with people who understand what it takes to grow a company.
Our aim is to build strong professional relationships, learn from other business owners and take a more active part in the local business community. Nucleus brings together people from a range of sectors, and we are looking forward to contributing to that network as well as benefiting from it.
Growing responsibly
Growth only counts if it is done properly. Alongside expanding the team, we have committed to developing the business in a responsible way. We operate a paperless office and run electric company vehicles to reduce the CO2 emissions associated with site visits across the South East.
What this means for our clients
Very little, in practical terms, and that is the point. The same surveyors, the same standards and the same direct lines of contact. The only change is where to find us.
