PROJECT MANAGEMENT

At K & A Chartered Surveyors we regularly manage projects and remove the stress of this process from our clients. Whilst providing the assurance that the works have been monitored by a Chartered Surveyor from Commencement to completion throughout London, Kent, Essex and Surrey.

OUR ROLE IN PROJECT MANAGEMENT

We take away the stress and time associated with Project Management, by ensuring the project runs on time, to budget and maintain constant contact with the relevant parties to ensure your project meets all requirements. We have a list of approved Contractors we can include in the tender process if required.

Our duties include:

  • Preparation of the Specification of Works and send these to tender.
  • Undertake Tender analysis and provide recommendations on which Contractor to appoint.
  • Conduct regular site visits and report on the progress.
  • Liaising with the external parties, including but not limited to the Planning authorities, Building Control, Conservation Officers, Structural Engineer, Suppliers, Distribution Network Operators and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
  • Undertake contract administration services, such as preparing contract instructions, interim certificates, certificates of practical completion and final certificates once the retention period has passed.

We have a list of approved independent Contractors which we have relationships with as we work with them on many projects who we can include whilst tendering along with contractors of your choice as long as they are willing to comply with all CDM and Health and Safety Legislation.
